Two core functionalities distinguish this app: built-in speech output and a quick 'double tap' feature on the main screen that announces the street or road name. When near a property, it also provides the house number. Help instructions are delivered audibly, eliminating the need for visual reading or reliance on VoiceOver—users can simply shake their device to access guidance.

The app presents and vocalizes four key pieces of information: the house number and street name, postcode or ZIP code, town name, and location derived from the What3Words system.

The secondary map screen offers a zoomed-in view of the immediate area, suitable for sighted assistance with directions. As users move or pan the map, it updates and verbally indicates the current road. Passing a junction prompts it to announce the intersecting road name. This feature can be particularly useful for travelers on buses, aiding in identifying when to disembark.

The data entry interface allows users to input either 'What3Words' identifiers or latitude and longitude coordinates, which then update the primary information display. Accessing this screen involves a long press on any white region of the main interface.

Basic operational steps include:

• Using either the prominent blue 'Refresh' button or a single-finger double tap anywhere on the screen triggers an audible recitation of the current road or street name.
• Performing a two-finger double tap reads aloud all four displayed data points.
• Press-and-hold actions on any light blue text box copy their content to the clipboard for sharing.
• Press-and-hold on the 'Refresh' button prepares an email with your location details ready to send.
• In map view, a four-finger double tap toggles the encryption of the buttons—disabling or enabling them and changing their color to red—helpful for pocket use to prevent accidental activation.
• A dedicated button at the bottom right provides spoken instructions if assistance is needed with using the app.

The 'Loc' button at the bottom speaks your latitude and longitude coordinates and copies them automatically to your clipboard for easy sharing.

Swipe gestures facilitate navigation: horizontal swipes switch views between main and map screens; two-finger vertical swipes adjust speech rate—up for faster speech, down for slower—which is remembered across sessions.
